Radiotherapy is the treatment of cancer using high energy X- Rays or gamma rays. This treatment can be administered from outside the body (external beam radiotherapy), or internally (brachytherapy). External beam radiotherapy is administered on specialized machines known as linear accelerators. Our center is equipped with the most advanced TrueBeam STx Radiosurgery Linear Accelerator along with the state of the art radiotherapy treatment planning system, Eclipse. The centre offers a spectrum of radiotherapy treatment techniques such as Rapid Arc (VMAT), IGRT (Image Guided Radiotherapy), IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy), 3DCRT (Three Dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy), SGRT (Surface Guided Radiotherapy), SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery), SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy), and Brachytherapy.

In addition to these special techniques, we offer highly specialized services for patient care and comfort:

• 4 Dimensional Respiratory gated radiotherapy (4DRT) for treatment of cancers in the chest region and abdomen that move during respiratory motion to improve the accuracy of treatment.

SGRT (Surface Guided Radiotherapy)

• We are the pioneer of SGRT in India and have vast experience in this cutting-edge technology which ensures accurate delivery of radiation.

Short course Radiotherapy (SCRT)

• We specialize in providing precise radiotherapy over a shorter duration for cancers such as breast cancers, prostate cancers, and lung cancers, Rectal cancers. This improves patient convenience and treatment outcomes.

Single dose Radiotherapy (SDRT)

• We specialize in giving a very precise high dose, single fraction, of radiotherapy with the Radiosurgery technique, for certain brain tumours (such as brain metastasis, schwannoma, meningioma, etc.), and cancer metastasis in the spine, bones or liver. This maximizes the effectiveness of Radiotherapy, enhances patient comfort, prolongs and improves quality of life.
• Integrative Radiotherapy planning using high precision MRI, CT scans, and PET CT scans, which significantly increases the accuracy of radiotherapy treatment planning, minimize the side effects thus improving the outcomes.

Palliative care and pain control

• In some of the advanced stage cancers, the patient may be in severe pain. We offer palliative radiotherapy to alleviate pain, thus improving the quality of life for the patient. We also treat cancer emergencies such as Spinal cord compression, SVCO, tumor bleeding and impending bone fracture due to cancer.

Integrative Onco – Rehab program

• To reduce the possible side effects of treatment and ensure the patient’s comfort and quality of life, we offer an integrative onco rehab program to our patients. The program involves physiotherapy, yoga, nutritional advice, counselling, and speech and swallowing therapy.
